【Function and Purpose】
The gas pipeline detector uses the new-generation high-performance trolley-type combustible gas detector, which needs no drilling or excavation but just push the device forward while walking on the ground above the gas pipeline, and the leakage position on the underground pipeline can be detected. So it’s the optimal instrument for leakage detection on underground gas transportation pipelines.
The gas pipeline detector is widely used in safety inspection, maintenance and emergency disposal on gas transportation pipelines by such departments as urban gas, petroleum, petro-chemical, oil depot, gas stations and oil and gas fields.

【Detection Principle and Methodology】
When the air containing combustible gases is transported to the sensor via the air pump, the resistance of the detection element will increase quickly (the resistance variation is proportional to the gas concentration), a voltage signal output is magnified through the circuit and sent to the display, and the alarming signal is generated.
